Labotec Raises Funding For Crowd-Sourced Mobile App Development Venture
Labotec says that it has received hundreds of new project ideas from 27 countries since its inception in May 2009. Miami, Florida-based Labotec has landed a round of funding from Kima Ventures , a European early-stage investment fund founded by entrepreneurs and angel investors Jeremie Berrebi (Zlio, Net2One) and Square backer Xavier Niel (Free, Iliad).
The VC firm thus joins Kipost and FS Ventures as investors of the crowd-sourced mobile app development venture.

Review: Robert Pozen's Road Map for Financial Reform
Bob Pozen's book Too Big to Save? (Wiley, 2009) breaks the mold. While there are many books on the financial crisis, too many of them say too much about what went wrong and not enough about how to fix the problem. It not only analyzes the causes of the crisis with uncommon clarity, but also supplies a compelling road map for reform.
