Type With Me = Etherpad, frozen in time
In a couple of previous postings in December 2009, I mentioned that the real-time collaborative authoring tool, Etherpad, had been acquired by Google to become part of Wave, and then that Etherpad had been opensourced.

At LeWeb in Paris (December 2009) Chris Pirillo articulated some underlying principles for creating true (virtual) community. Matt Buckland [1] recorded Chris’ points in text form. Chris started by saying “I don’t have an agenda; I don’t have an announcement…” referring, of course, to the number of companies that had been making announcements on the stage. I’m m going to make some comments on them now.

2010 New Year's Resolutions from the RWW Geeks & Friends
Our newest startup blogger, Chris Cameron , said he wants to use 2010 to press the flesh and put faces with names, so to speak.
"Since As seasoned journos, it's our sworn duty to protect cub reporters from no-account rabble rousers, so we asked Chris who he specifically wanted to meet this year. I've realized in 2009 that it's harder to be a tech writer when you don't have a hacker-esque depth of understanding about APIs and web apps. Forget losing weight or finding the perfect life partner: All we want to do is make 2010 the biggest geek-out year ever.
