Is the iPhone Still More Personal than Professional?
In the Localytics study, which mined U.S. Also on weekends, they found that iPhone users generate 7% more traffic than on weekdays. And neither of those items, obviously, were tracked in the Localytics study.

What Would You Ask Nature? Submit to the Biomimicry Institute/Designers Accord Challenge!
Currently there's a great deal of excitement bridging algorithms found in nature and information technology or "generative design," where we're able to extrapolate data from the way that nature goes through its iterative design process in evolution. And, using biomimetic principles, we've also been able to learn more about our own species: The Biomimicry Guild is starting conversations with global companies that manufacturer things like cosmetics--in which case their own in-house scientiststs have been studying hair and skin for decades.

Observations from a Student Leadership Summit
The members of the crucible generation, as Warren Bennis calls them , really do have a more collaborative and less competitive orientation then we ever did. The older generation has a significant contribution to make--in mentoring. Jim Collins , the dinner speaker on the final day of the summit, talked about how each of us needs a personal board of directors. That is particularly true for the crucible generation, Last week I had the opportunity to participate in the Student Leadership Summit , the inaugural event of the Frances Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement , at the University of Pittsburgh.
